Rambles

*I'm trying to make a list of everything for the adoption party. Can't wait!

* School starts August 12th. I'm already ready to go school shopping. I love buying the kiddos new clothes and supplies.

* We recently worked on some landscaping. Here is a pic of the kids working on digging out the pond:

* Shawn bought a trailer on craigslist recently and fixed it up. He's proud of it.

Why do the pictures go to the top of my post where I don't want them? Is there a way to fix that? Well, I'll ramble more later!

Is it really July already?!?!

Where does time go? I am excited for our upcoming adoption! Less than a month! It's exciting and a little scary. Oh my goodness! I will be their mom for the rest of their lives... I'm ready for it though. We went the the Cass County Fair yesterday and the Carroll County Fair today. We have had so much junk food I'm surprised the kids could sleep tonight. We've had a blast though. It's been a fun summer! I'll have to post more about it later...

Life is Amazing

I'm excited to announce that we are in the process of adopting our two foster kids! I feel so lucky that these two amazing kids were placed in our home and that we get to adopt them. They were our first placement and our last. Shawn and I got into fostering to adopt, and that is just what we get to do! I feel so blessed. Many couples get into fostering and have many many children come in and out of there home before the right kids come along. My life revolves around these two rug-rats. Their birthdays were January 30th and February 3rd. Zach is now 7 and Abby is 6. We finally made it to celebrate their birthdays at Chuck E. Cheese last Friday. We had is originally scheduled during a heavy snow. The kids had a blast! Abby's face is priceless when Chuck E. Cheese brought out the cake.

Fair Season!

We took the kids to the children's museum a couple weeks ago. We had a lot of fun! Too bad I can't post pics. :-(

We took the kids to the Carroll County Fair the other day and they had a blast! They got to ride a few rides and eat the awesome cookies we have to get every year. We plan on going back again tomorrow night and getting ice cream!

I have a job interview coming up in a couple weeks! Wish me luck! I'm desperate to find a job! Its in a school system too! I hope to get my foot in the door at this school too! I would love to work there for 30 years!
