I just watched half of Ever After. Too bad I didn't know it was on sooner. I love that movie! I'm in a sappy mood too, so its perfect! What's another good chick flick to watch?
I've been busy today.
All the dishes are washed and put away.
4 loads of laundry washed, dried, folded, and put away.
I fixed the pool pump. Darn bugs were trying to plug it up. I guess that's what you get when you live between woods and a corn field.
I cleaned my pond filter so it would actually pump water again. The fish are happy now.
I made up some sugar/water syrup for my hummingbirds. I think they spy on me. As soon as I hung it up and walked away, they attacked it. Better it than me. The hummingbirds let me know when they are out. They fly by zooming past my head. I think they like to see me duck and cover. They're mean, but oh so pretty. They must have a sugar addiction.
I scrubbed to stove top and supper is cooking.
Last night I posted on Facebook: I have the world's best and cutest kids! They played on the computer and read in my classroom while I got things ready to go for next week. When we got home, they brought the trash can up, got the mail and paper, AND fed and watered the cats.! How did I get so lucky?
After that, one of my super awesome kids gave the other one a black eye. They were playing softball when Zac threw a ball and Abby tried to catch it with here eye. Her glasses are a little bent, but not too bad. We'll just have to have them adjusted after school Monday. The funny part was Abby's reaction. I was inside cooking supper when I heard her crying. I rushed out the door to see what was wrong. She stopped crying and looked at me and said she wasn't really crying. She just wanted to make Zac feel bad for hitting her with the ball. She got a black eye and didn't really cry! She's one tough kiddo!
Oh! And something else happened last night. One of the kittens (around 14 weeks old) showed back up. We took a walk about 9-10 days ago. The cat was following us until the neighbor dogs started barking. Thor (yes, that's his name) took off running. I assumed he was eated by a coyote or a fox when he didn't show up back at home. Guess not! I was in the garage when the kids started yelling. The cat was under the deck and came running to them when he saw them. Of course he wanted picked up and some attention. He wasn't skinny and hungry though. I'm assuming he decided to hang out at the neighbors for a while.
The washer just stopped, so its back to the real world for me!
I love the blog! I just read it all! I enjoy the pictures, so lets just keep going. Keep up the blogging, keep up the pictures, and I can't wait to see what is in store for the Scott Family!
