Parenthood and Autumn

Unique title?  They are both on my mind...

Parenthood is such an experience and so rewarding. It's amazing the things you learn and the things you do.  For instance, no slip hair bands are awesome!  Abby has fine hair, but these stay in during her dance class.  They sell them at CVS for $2.99.  We made sure to buy the ones with the hair tie holder.  It keeps them together in her dance bag. Here is a picture I found online of some with the holder.  We picked one with bright colors, like girly pink.  Abby is a girly girl!

It's a great Saturday night! I was busy all day.

The kids and I got up by 7:15 and froze our behinds off this morning at Zac's football practice.

When we got back, the kids and I cleaned house.  No, laundry isn't done yet.  Is it ever?

Pinterest is very addicting and has some great ideas!  I did a lot of organizing from things I've seen on it.  I cleaned and organized most of my cabinets.  I feel good about that.

Afterwards, I got all of my fall decorations out, changed my Scentsy pots to baked apple pie, and lit a candle called autumn harvest.

Today is the first day of autumn!  WELCOME FALL!!!!!

Here is a sign that fall is here, if you had any doubts.

Shawn just found him on the deck when he let Lucy out.  I haven't seen a willy worm this big before.  He has spiky hairs.  I put him on a paper plate so you could see his size.  Unfortunately, he curled up into a ball and refused to stretch back out.  Look at the long hair he has in the last picture.  Strange.  Maybe he's not your typical willy worm.  Wow!  I didn't know I could go on and on about a worm, but now that I have, I will move on.  ;-)

My super amazing husband said that I deserved a break from cooking, so he brought Subway home!  I'm so glad he did!  It gave more even more time to organize.  Thank you beautiful husband!  I love you Shawn!

I must have worn the kids out.  I went to tell the kids it was time for bed at 9:00 since we need to get up for church in the morning.  This is how I found Abby.

She was reading one of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books when she conked out.  Before 9:00 p.m.!

I hope I didn't bore you too much!

Have a wonderful weekend!

~Sam
